What is On Line Banking?    

On Line Banking is secure and convenient access to your accounts anytime day or night.  Some of the functions you will be able to perform on line are:

Do I need any special equipment or software on my computer at home?

If you have access to the internet, an account at the First National Bank and a user ID and password from us – you're ready to start using on line banking

Just how safe is on line banking with the First National Bank?

Your transactions are encrypted as they move from our bank to the host computer. Also, your electronic banking transactions are protected by a password and digital image. Someone else CANNOT use your account without knowing your password. That's why you want to keep it safe.

When can I start using On Line Banking with the First National Bank?  How do I get started?

You will need to contact us and let us know you would like to use this service or   you can enroll on line.  You will then receive,   a password from us.   The first time you visit the First National Bank on line you will be asked to choose a  new password of your choice  and that password will be used whenever you log on to do your on line banking.

What happens if I forget my password ?

You may contact any of us here at the First National Bank and after confirming your identity a new  password will be assigned.

Will I still receive a paper statement in the mail?

Yes, you will still receive a statement with imaged checks at regular intervals.

What if I have more than one checking and savings account?

Not a problem, you will be able to view all of your accounts with us provided the accounts have the same primary Taxpayer identification number.

What hours of the day can l log on to bank on line?

You can access your accounts 24 hours a day.   However, please note that the cut-off time for transactions is the same as if you walked into our bank lobby.  Cut off time is 3:00 p.m. during regular banking days, which excludes weekends and holidays.  Any transactions made after 3:00 p.m.  will be processed on the next business day.

Will I be able to download account history into my bookkeeping software?

No, not at this time.

Will I be charged a fee for transferring funds on line?

No, the fees will be the same as if you called us or walked into the lobby to do your banking.

How confidential is my password?

No bank employee will EVER ask you for your password.  You should not give it to anyone unless you intend to allow that person access to your accounts.  If you are ever contacted by anyone requesting this information please contact us immediately.
